We have a fun blog hop featuring Rita Barakat and Plaid Fabric Paint! This paint is wonderful. It is water soluble so clean up is a breeze, but once it is heat set it is permanent. This is the what I made with it:
One of the things I like about white titles is how easy it is to add colored glitter to them to make them match a project. I really wanted to amp up and create a bright fun layout with my son and I. he is bright and fun so a layout needs to reflect that, right?
I used the Dual Tip Max-Glue Pen to adhere the glitter to the letters.
I like it because not only is it clear, it also has a nice tip with a comb to move the adhesive around.
I applied my adhesive to the title:
I sprinkled a generous layer of glitter on the wet adhesive.
Once the title was covered I went in with the flat side of a craft spatula and pressed the glitter down.
I applied another layer of glitter and let it dry.
I simply removed the title once it was dry and applied to my layout.
I really like that with this technique I could glitter different words in my title different colors!
Every Tuesday I do a quick (2 – 3 minute) technique on my channel! Here are a list of the ones I did in February!
One of my favorite things to do is travel. I love a good road trip! I often will go back to my home town. It is about a 12 hour drive and we have our favorite stops along the way. Half the fun is getting there! We love the journey. I created a mini album of our trips to California last summer. This is how I made the first page:
