O-Fish-ally Awesome Cards

I am currently obsessed with this scene buider fish stamp. The best part is for this month, April 2020, it is only $5! Needless to say I snatched it up and created two interactive cards with it.

I had a been playing with spinner cards all week. I had an idea stuck in my head on creating a card with this set as a spinner — but a little different. I actually wanted to expose the majority of the circle that spins to create an illusion that the fish were swimming. To hide the brad that is needed to make it spin I added the sand castle. Now the fish are swimming around it.

For the second card I was inspired by a porthole and knew a shaker would be perfect! To see how both of these cards were created please watch this video tutorial I made for you.

Here is a list of all the products I used to make both of these cards:

Love is in the Air

Have you joined the Stamp of the Month Club yet? You will receive a sweet little stamp set for $5 (which includes shipping) every month AND you will get 10% off what ever you order in the shop as long as you are a member of the club! I created this card with December’s SOM:

I stamped the two different heart from the set on banner pieces I die cut. The Balloon is also part of the set! I stamped it on a piece of flat pink card stock, trimmed it and used pop dots to adhere to the tag.

Charming Pillow Box

I am over on the Brutus Monroe Blog today with this little pillow box that I made with the November Stamp of the Month Set and Shrinky Dink. My friend, Nadine, said that Shrinky Dink can be shrunk with just a heat gun. It totally worked! Just make sure that you poke any holes before you shrink it down and remember that it will shrink your holes too! You can find more info on how to make this box on Brutus Monroe so head on over there 🙂
