Electro Pop and Flock!

Thermoweb has blown my mind! They have come out with Transfer Gel Duo. It is a gel that allows you to foil without heat. It gets better. They came out with flock! I watched quietly as Rina K (Gina K‘s daughter) demoed her new Electro Pop line that has flock, glitter gel and ink. I then walked around the booth and saw the awesome samples created with the new line. I became instantly obsessed with it and asked if I could play with some to feature on my social media. They gave me a little of everything. I had so much fun creating cards with it!

What the Flock?

There are some things to keep in mind when working with the new Transfer Gel Duo line. It is super sticky, so take care when you are letting it dry and what it touches. You know it is dry and ready to be used when it is clear. It is easier to gel a batch of substrates and store them, than to do one at a time. Store them with a piece of wax paper between them as to avoid sticking together. Don’t throw out your scraps! Use them to create another substrate (see video above on how to do this).

Electro Pop Shine

This glitter gel is amazing! It is so BRIGHT — just the way I like it. The glitter is not super chunky, but it also is not real fine either. It is not runny either. It works best on stencils that are not fine detailed.

I am curious, are you more into flock, foil or glitter? Let me know in the comments!

Boss Babe Card Set

Joy Clair Stamps and Thermoweb have come together for a wonderful blog hop! I created a set of striking cards using my favorite products from Thermoweb — foil, transfer gel, Glitz Glitter gel, a deco circle stencil, white card stock and a nifty new tool to help apply the gel. I decided on the Boss Babe stamp set as the sentiments of this set.

Get It Girl

To create this card I used the Glitz Glitter Gel and the stencil on black cardstock. I stamped the sentement and embossed it in silver along with all the edges. I used black glitter cardstock as a mat on each card in the set.

She Believed She Could So She Did

I repeated the same process as I did on the black card on this one. I used white cardstock instead to see how the Glitz Glitter Gel looked on a lighter surface.

Out Dream Yourself

Transfer gel and foil are my favorite products Thermoweb makes! I used them to create this card by applying the gel through the stencil, letting it dry and applied foil. I used a little Nuvo Shimmer Powder on it to make it pop.

You’re A Diamond They Can’t Break You

This is one of my favorite techniques o use with the scrap foil created by transferring an image! Simple cover a substrate with transfer gel, let it dry and adhere the scrap to it. This not only make it so nothing is wasted, it creates a gorgeous card base!

As A Set

This set took 40 minutes to create once the Transfer Gel was dry and the results are stunning! The Stencil Pal Tool is probably my favorite new tool of 2019! It may look simple, but the weight, size and flexibility of it make it easy to use and a must have for spreading any medium over a stencil.
