Kiss Me I’m Irish Pop Up Box

The leprechaun from the Lucky Clover Joy Clair set looks adorable, but naughty. I knew that I wanted to create something of a surprise with it.

From the outside it looks like a pretty little box, but on the inside…

This little guy pops out! Isn’t it fun? Here is now I created this pop up box.

Material:

The box is just an old jewelry box I have hung on to for years. The pattern paper is from a Christmas line as well as the gold ribbon. I ended up painting the box over with an artichoke color. The green pictured was a bit to bright. I never used the stickles, but had them out just in case.

Directions:

First layer on some Gesso as to prime the box and paint it.

Using a gold paint dry brush a flower just enough to add highlights.

As the paint dries, color in the stamped images and cut them out.

Once the box is dry add the rainbow and sentiment in the lid.

To create the springs cut two strips of card stock and according fold every 1/4 to 1/2 inch.

Adhere to box and leprechaun with glue dots.

Now your box is ready to be given away!

CCB Designer Christmas Blog Hop!

I am super excited to be part of the Christmas Blog hop with fabulous CCB designers from around the world. The inspiration is amazing! I always love to see what everyone came up with. Please find the links to the participating blogs at the end of the post. Some are hosting giveaways so make sure you visit each and leave a comment. Also, make sure you check out the Canvas Corp Brands Website for inspiration and products.

I created a Pin Up Card with the Holly Jolly Line.

I used Bombshell Stamps from my stash. I was inspired by the sentiments on the Holly Jolly sentiment sheet. This is not the average card. It is a little different in that it is folded to reveal three pin ups. This is how I created the card using one sheet of black 12 by 12 card stock to make this into a 5 by 7.

Cut off a 5 by 12 inch piece of card stock. Trim the other piece to a 7 by 10 inch.

Score the 7 by 10 inch piece in half giving you a base of 5 by 7.

Trim off 1.5 inches from the fron of the card so the back piece peaks through.

Take the 5 by 12 piece and fold it at the 7 inch line.

Place the 5 inch portion of the piece on the back of the card and adhere so it folds like this:

Once you have the card set up the fun part happens — decorating!

I used three different pin ups that I colored with Copic Markers and used my Scan and cut to trim out. This is “Naughty”.

To give the card some more interest I attached this awesome wax like twine in a bow.

This is nice:

I made sure to use a different piece of pattern paper on the inside of the card since it would show through to the front.

Finally, here is Santa Approved complete with wings to show she really is an angel.

The sentiment is from the same sheet, but I added the tattoo style letters.

I wanted this card to be a bit on the edgy side. I am super pleased with how it turned out!

Here is the list of hoppers! Make sure you hop through each blog. I am giving away this card on my blog! Every comment left will be entered to win. Giveaway closes on December 8, 2018!

Princess Mermaid Shadow Box Card with Rita Barakat and Technique Junkies Blog Hop

The Rita Barakat Designers are doing a blog hop! Each comment on one of our teams blog posts is another chance to win! Details can be found at https://wp.me/p47OIs-HA winner will be announced on Friday the 6th on the blog at RitaBarakat.com

Summer is in full swing in these parts and what better way to celebrate than with mermaids! I just adore the new line by Rita Barakat that is available at Technique Junkies! I had so much fun creating this shadow box card with the Clam Shell and Princess Mermaid! I like to keep the front of my shadow box cards simple because when it is open it is dramatic!

I used Glitter Paint by Plaid as the back drop to the simple sentiment on the front of the card.

On the inside I colored the mermaid and clam with copic markers and placed pearls around the edge of the shadow box.

I backed the mermaid with a glitter cardstock to make her shine. I also used my fingers to add a little glitter glue on her for some sparkle.

For the clam I used copic markers to give him so personality.

Here are all the new stamps and don’t forget the 10% off coupon for my readers!TJ10Betz
